Beneficio Seco de Soppexcca, Matagalpa

En esta foto se ve el beneficio seco de la UCA Soppexcca que queda por Matagalpa.
Aquí traen el Café después del proceso del beneficio húmedo para secar los granos al sol. Esa es la etapa donde se transforma de café pergamino a café verde u oro. El proceso del beneficiado seco consiste en quitarle la cáscara o pergamino al café mediante el morteo para obtener el café verde, después se clasifican y por último se seleccionan los mejores granos. El café ya queda listo para exportación.

In this picture you can see the “dry beneficio” of the UCA Soppexcca which is situated near Matagalpa. After the wet method the coffee is being dried in the sun. During this stage the coffee beans are being transformed from parchment coffee to coffee “oro or verde”.
The dry processing consists of drying coffee beans in order to give husk coffee, followed by mechanical removal of the dried pericarp to produce green coffee. Finally the beans are being selected and classified, packed and ready for export.
